Twas the Night Before Christmas

Tuesday, December 25, 2012 by Leslie Paladino

Yesterday was our first Christmas eve since we’ve had the kids that we didn’t go out of town and it was so nice.  In fact, last Christmas eve we spent part of the night in the ER when Gabby had an allergic reaction to something.  Definite upgrade!  Michael took the day off and Papa Dino came in.  It was a full day but also a day spent making lots of memories.  There was ice skating, cookie decorating, Christmas eve service at church, opening the kids presents from Papa Dino and then playing them (Wii games!), putting out reindeer food and leaving cookies and milk out for Santa.  Gabby was so excited she even took something to bed with her then threw it down after we turned out the lights and tried to convince Peter that it was Santa.  Smile  Love that imagination and excitement!

while visions of sugar plums danced in their heads.
