Last month Gabby finished up soccer for the season. They’ll start back in the Spring and we’re still trying to decide if she’ll be joining them or if we’ll try something else. So far soccer isn’t her thing but a lot can change in a few months. So this is Gabby “playing” soccer. :) Notice where the ball is in this one and which direction Gabby’s going. Gotta love it. There we go! It turned out fuzzy but I had to include this picture because it was the play of the game. Gabby blocked the ball and kicked it out of the goal! It was awesome! I will not include the next picture in the series where she’s watching the next ball go into the goal instead of kicking it out. :)
Now just some random pics from the last few weeks. I found my sweet Pete asleep in the floor one day before lunch. Poor baby! And what you can’t see here is that I had him in underwear instead of a pull-up and there was a surprise waiting for mommy under that sweet boy.
We went to a Halloween party at a friends house last month and this is Gabby and my friends son holding hands in the bounce house. They were so cute! He was the perfect little prince for my princess…protecting her from the wild kids, helping her up, and never letting go of her hand. Gabby ate it up! Gabby had a crazy hat day at school last week and this is the hat she chose. Maybe she’ll love Davey Crocket as much as her Daddy.
This year for Halloween the kids were Peter Pan and Wendy. I found Peter’s costume and thought it was too cute to pass up. I knew Gabby would go for Wendy to match it but I didn’t expect it to be so hard to find a Wendy costume. So I made her Wendy “nightgown.” It took a week but I guess it’s good practice for future dresses (meaning, I’ll know to buy them not make them next time). :)
We went trick or treating in the neighborhood with friends again and had so much fun watching the kids run from house to house. It took a couple of houses to get into it but they had it down by the end.
Papa Dino also came in a couple of weekends ago and we went to a pumpkin patch in Springdale called Farmland Adventures. It was awesome and definitely where we’ll go again next year.
Peter’s little legs were busy running all night. He would run away from each house yelling “I did it” or “I dot it.” Farmland Adventures Trip They loved the zonkey. I had to include a picture of Peter with this goat. They both had matching horrible coughs. Looking back maybe not such a good idea to have him touch the goat with the diseased cough. Who knew you could look so pretty riding a steer. Yee Haw! I love all these goat pictures with Gabby. She has a way with goats I guess. In the corn maze. Finishing the weekend with a carved pumpkin and a big knot on the head. Poor Peter! It’s his third knot in the same spot.
Just your average story. Girl meets boy, girl and boy fall in love and get married. They have a simple, quiet life then girl and boy decide to start a family. It feels like thats where our story really gets interesting because its hard to remember life before kids. My husband, Michael, and I have been married since 2002 and live in NW Arkansas with our two amazing and slightly crazy kids, Gabby and Peter Michael. This blog is all about our daily, weekly, or monthly lives depending on how up to date I keep it. Im a stay at home mom so of course theres the average craft, etc along the way. Enjoy!
